don't tell 'em i've gone crazy

in recent months my itunes has been on a bit of a dry spell. wonderful creations like pandora and youtube allow us to listen to music for hours without paying a dime. well, today, i decided to support the music industry for the first time, since, oh... october. maybe august.

(except for that one time over new years when i bought black eyed peas "meet me halfway." my roommates will probably never forgive me...or ever be the same.)

kimbo ginnings. renza sharpe. sara wilson. they always have the best music, most of which i've never heard before, blaring from their radios. so in the spirit of sharing great music, here's what i bought this week.

green river ordinance - great band out of fort worth. i may have mentioned them before. they were just getting started when i was at TCU and used to play our sorority meetings in jeans with no sound systems to back them up - just a guitar and a smile.

someone will probably sing this to me one day. or i'll force them to do it. loudly.

of course i've clicked "purchase" on a john mayer song or two recently. who can resist? i saw jason aldean at the rodeo last week and this is my new favorite song of the month. sing it in the shower? sure.
