yaaay do it yourself projects. my parents are kind of geniuses at it, and i am...whats the word? learning.

first we took the chairs, which we found in the heights, and we painted them a new shade of red, then sealed, removed the old striped fabric, added some foam padding, covered with the new fabric, and...viola, easy as pie.

and when i say easy as pie, i mean that i dripped a lot of paint on the floor. i put way too much sealer on some of the chairs and they looked semi-hideous until my mom fixed them. i yelled at my dad when he tried to give me pointers. but... it was fun and the chairs look great, so all in a good days work.
