crob news: Wendy Kopp, CEO and Founder of Teach for America, visits KIPP SHINE elementary. Pops her head into my classroom for 3-4 minutes. Smiles and says "thank you!" when leaving.
January 20th, what a day. Crazy how much my life has changed in the past year. It feels like a decade in many ways.
More to come later about the Wendy Kopp visit! I'll have to recover from all the excitement of a celebrity in my room before I can process the details. (just kidding. i need to finish some paperwork before a meeting tomorrow.)
